This course is designed to meet the training needs of the incident commander type 4 (ICT4). It is presented in a discussion/exercise format. Topics include effective foundation skills  at the ICT4 level, gathering and documenting essential information about an incident, sizing up an incident and developing a plan of action, managing an incident through effective leadership and demonstrating the ability to evaluate a plan of action and make adjustments to the plan when necessary.
